When going to apply for a mortgage, you should take the following items based on your employment status...
If you are an Employee / Salaried Borrower:
- Pay Stubs for the most recent 30 day period
- Bank Statements for the past two months
- 2 years of the most recent W-2 forms
- 2 months of the most recent Investment and Retirement Statements
If you are a Self Employed / Commissioned Borrower:
- 2 years of the most recent complete Tax Returns both personal and corporate
- Year-to-date Profit & Loss Statements
- Bank Statements for the past 2 months
